I love making earrings, love wearing them too. I think the earring is the most worn accessory and it offers so many possibilities.
Take these cluster earrings for example. I make them using a larger focal bead which can be any material. In the earrings pictured, they are faceted glass, pearl, and crystal – moving from top to bottom. I then add a stack of smaller beads in colors that harmonize with the larger focal bead to create the earring design.
I think they are lovely and offer visual interest without being too large or heavy for those preferring a little smaller design. And with the colors of beads available to jewelry designers, there are so many lovely possibilities.
