Tuesday evening we cooked shrimp, artichokes, and red onions on skewers on the grill. I had never eaten grilled artichokes before and they were delicious. We cooked enough for a couple of meals. I can remember being slightly afraid of artichokes, until I actually tried them.
Today for my artist’s date, I went to Panera and had the spinach and artichoke souffle with a cup of coffee. Their souffles are always so good and they don’t make that many so sometimes they run out. It just felt nice, to have a few moments to myself to do nothing but relax.
