This is one of the pieces I hope to finish on this trip – by finished, I mean I hope to get the bead weaving done and have a completed pendant that is ready to then be strung on a necklace that enhances its beauty. Here it is in its unfinished state. Bead weaving projects like this take a lot of thread. This one may end up with about 12 yards of thread in it. I normally work with thread in three yard pieces at a time. Any longer than that and you are asking for trouble from the knot and tangle devils. So, I end up with a lot of loose ends like you see here.
I keep the ends loose until I am totally finished with the bead weaving and then carefully knot, conceal, and cut each one. In the end, you will not know they were ever there.
